From the north of the island stretching all the way down to Bamboo Bay, Koh Lanta's beaches are pure white sand.

All of Koh Lanta's beaches stretch down the west coast of the island, the east coast being more mountainous.

Driving from top to bottom of the island, to pass through each beach area would take around 1 hour. The only problem with this would be that it's IMPOSSIBLE not to stop anywhere!

KOR KWANG
On the far north coast of the island, Kor Kwang is one ofthe most picturesque beaches on the island and also one of the quietest!

KLONG DAO
3km of pure white sand and crystal clear water. The first major "resort" beach development on the island, Klong Dao is known as the place to watch the sunset.

Pra Ae (Long Beach)
Crescent shaped beach and as the name suggests is the longest on the island (4km). Popular spot for families as the swimming here is excellent.

KAN TIENG
In the South-East corner of the island, Kan Tieng is probably the best of Koh Lanta's beaches. With pure white sand and crystal clear water, the beach has a mountain backdrop from the Koh Lanta National Park.

BAMBOO BAY
Similar to Kan Tieng, Bamboo Bay is also urrounded by the mountains of Koh Lanta National Park and is a good spot for snorkelling.

KOH LANTA NATIONAL PARK
The two beaches within the National Park, Had Hin Ngam (Beautiful Stone) and Tanod Beach (Palm Beach), are totally unspoiled without any resort development. At the tip of the island is the famous Koh Lanta Lighthouse.
