As Trang province is just a few hours from the Malaysian border, the ideal way to travel from Bangkok would be flying. There are direct daily flights to Trang from Bangkok.

Overland, from Bangkok you can choose either the train or bus. Be warned though, the journey can take up to 14 hours!

If travelling from other parts of the South of Thailand, regular A/C minivans link all major destinations.

Boats for Koh Kradan leave the mainland from Pak Meng Beach in Trang.
