There are two main beach areas in Koh Phayam, Ao Yai and Ao Kwai (Buffalo Bay).

Both beaches are unspoilt, beautiful stretches of golden sand and ideal spots for swimming and snorkeling .

AO YAI ("Big Bay")
Located at the south-west of the island, this is a 2km stretch of golden sand.

Looking out to sea, from here you can see Myanmar (Burma) in the distance.

AO KWAI ("Buffalo Bay")
On the north-west of the island, similar conditions as Ao Yai with golden sand and crystal clear water.
